From a trading firm in 1978 to Hyderabad's first decoiling unit in 1983, Ravindra Iron Works has grown into a one-stop destination for sheet metal needs — an established manufacturing and service-centre company, not a basic steel trader.

Today, our new facility processes 10,000 MT of sheet metal every month across three integrated divisions — Supply, Service and Solar MMS manufacturing — backed by German and Herr Voss precision lines and trusted material partnerships with Tata Steel and POSCO.

The Road from Trading Firm to Manufacturer

1978

Operations Started in Nacharam

RIW began operations in Nacharam, building its foundation in steel and sheet metal supply.

1983

Hyderabad's First Decoiling Unit

Installed Hyderabad's first decoiling unit, strengthening in-house processing capability.

1995

Automatic Cut-to-Length Line

Added automatic cut-to-length capability to improve precision and throughput.

2004

German Slitting Line Added

Imported a wider slitting line from Germany to expand precision slitting capability.

2017

Herr Voss Cut-to-Length Line

Added high-quality Herr Voss CTL machinery to improve processing accuracy.

2022

New 10K MT/Month Facility

Moved to a new facility with 10,000 MT/month sheet metal processing capability.

2024

Association with Tata Steel

Strengthened trusted sourcing and its steel partnership ecosystem.

2025

Solar MMS Manufacturing Entry

Entered Solar Module Mounting Structure manufacturing with dedicated production capacity under the RARE brand.
